Who builds the game that gets you noticed? Who makes it possible to create great Smartsites?
Florin Muresan, CEO, and Calin Vingan, CTO, are the two founders of Cif2.net.
"We've been working together for more then 2 years" , say the two founders of Cif2.net. We've met a long time ago (7 years ago). Calin had hired me to do some designs for a French client. The guy wanted something more extreme, and Calin knew that was my kind of designs. I was in highschool back then. When I was in the second year at the university, I began working with him again for his new webdesign company, built around a CMS/website builder platform for B2B.
We've been working ever since and have done a good job together at keeping the company profitable. During this time I'd learnt my marketing, how to get clients to buy and how to provide them with value.
In 2010, the economic crisis hit Romania and about 60% of our customers were suddenly gone (their companies closed). Desparate time, but I did not despair. I came up with a SEO + Social Media pack that we could offer to our remaining clients at a high price. They really wanted to bring in new business so they bought it regardless of the price. And the results were so good that after the 6 months of the pack they purchased it again, just to make sure those results kept coming.
In 2011, due to working together a lot on Cif2.net and focusing on it, the webdesign company was begining to enter obscurity and stop making money. Together we pivoted the company, changed the kind of clients we worked with and the webdesign packs we offered. And made more money :)

Cool stuff he did prior to Cif2.net, something that he's proud of: The first pivot of our webdesign company. The economic crisis hit the majority of our Business clients very hard. We saw that 60% were gone and we were relying mostly on subscriptions to a website builder for small companies. That made for a huge loss of money, so to compensate I made a very profitable pack of SEO and Social Media services for our remaining clients that would help them break through the noise and get noticed. It sold incredibly well (I did not expect that result) and it was like the crisis never hit us.
Very cool stuff you did prior to Cif2.net: I have built EviPC in 2007, at the begining of the year and it was the only billing software in Romania that was updated with the latest legislation. We had great sales until 2009, were Leaders for billing softwares (many other billing softwares appeared in 2007). Since 2009, the software became number two, because I'd shifted my focus on the webdesign company I started that was built around a CMS for B2B.
Cif2.net is like Zynga Meet Website Builders. This startup is changing the way people build websites and get their sites noticed. I have finished over 150 webdesign projects mainly for small companies and I have 2 years of experience in Social Media Managament and Strategy.
